25 Reasons to be in the Ministry

Chantal and I are celebrating 25 years in the ministry together, as well as being married for the same time! We got married in December of 1997 and came back from honeymoon straight into full time ministry, serving with Apostle Andre and Nola Pelser, who have been wonderful mentors in life helping us to fulfil our calling. We are so blessed to still have their wonderful counsel and support in this new phase of our global ministry to serve God and humanity, preparing the beautiful Bride of Christ for His glorious return.   1. Remember your first love. God’s love for us is eternal. We reflect His love in our ministry to Him and the ones that receive us as sent ones. Fish Eagle’s Call

It is a distinct high call that is neither a sea gulls shriek nor a laugh of the hadida bird. I know it well. “The hadeda ibis (Bostrychia hagedash) is an ibis native to Sub-Saharan Africa. It is named for its loud three to four note calls uttered in flight especially in the mornings and evenings when they fly out or return to their roost trees.” The fish eagle’s call is described as follows: “It tosses its head backwards while making a loud penetrating “wheeee-ah-kleeuw-kleeuw-kluuu” call; it is one of the most distinctive bird sounds of Africa.” But today, I needed to hear it. Life presents all sorts of problems and your emotions get stretched out of proportion. Sometimes it’s good to look up and harken the call of the fish eagles. They always circle in pairs and soar the thermal currents with effortless grace. They soar higher and higher and ascend above the crows that heckle....
